The district women’s emancipation center has issued a memorandum to the prime minister through the human chain and the deputy commissioner demanding 6 points including ensuring food and security for all working people including garment workers and domestic workers, waiver of NGO loans, appointment of doctors in mother and child welfare centers. Today at noon DB Rodemanbandhan and assembly was held.
District president of Nari Mukti Kendra Subhashini Devi, general secretary Nilufar Yasmin Shilpi, organizer Rahela Siddique and others spoke on the occasion. The speakers said that the working people are in dire straits as everything has stopped due to the increase in corona virus infection. Now is the time to ensure their food and medical care. At the end of the human chain, they handed over a memorandum to the Prime Minister through the Deputy Commissioner.
