Distribution of relief by the district administration among 500 unemployed people in Chandpur.

Chandpur district is at high risk of corona. The district administration has distributed 5 kg of rice (relief) to 500 people, including auto rickshaw drivers and the Verdict community, who lost their jobs due to two rounds of lock down.
Deputy Commissioner Anjana Khan Majlish inaugurated the distribution of food aid to 500 families at Chandpur Stadium on Sunday afternoon. At that time, the family members who became unemployed were very happy to get the free food assistance provided by the district administration.
Regarding the provision of food aid, Deputy Commissioner Anjana Khan Majlish said the Prime Minister had said that not a single person in the country would go without food. This is the promise of our Prime Minister.
For that, food aid will be handed over to each family in a phased manner. It will provide food aid to 5,000 families with 5 kg of rice, 1 kg of potatoes and 1 kg of onions.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Overall) Mohammad Abdullah Al Mahmud Zaman, who coordinates the district administration’s food aid program, said the Vedic community, small vehicle drivers, low-income people who have suddenly lost their jobs are being listed. Food aid is being provided from that list.

Chandpur Press Club President Iqbal Hossain Patwari, General Secretary Rahim Badsha, former President Golam Kibria Jibon, Executive Magistrate. Mehedi Hasan Manik and ARM Zahid Hasan, Chandpur District Traffic Police Inspector (TI) Zahirul Islam Bhuiyan were present on the occasion.
The district administration has formed a volunteer team to conduct the relief distribution activities in an efficient and orderly manner. The members of that team conducted relief distribution activities on that day.
