The election of Panchbibi Merchant Association is frozen
Neither the Jatiya Sangsad nor the municipality, nor any Union Parishad election is now being widely campaigned for by the Panchbibi Merchant Association of Joypurhat near the North Bengal border. In the meantime, posters and banners, posters and festoons of the candidates have been spread in the alleys of Panchbibi Bazar. Many candidates are campaigning exceptionally to attract voters. In order to win the next election, the candidates are conducting public relations and publicity along with selling in their respective shops.Two panels (Bharat-Habib) and (Mizan-Nadeem) are contesting in the Panchbibi Banik Samiti elections for the next 3 years. A total of 41 candidates are contesting in the polling station against 20 posts including 1 President-Secretary, 1 Vice-President and Assistant-Secretary, 2 Treasurer Secretaries, Office Secretary, Assistant Office Secretary, Social Service Secretary and Sports Secretary 1, and 9 executive member posts.As there was no other candidate for the post of active member, 2 members won unopposed. A total of 1,029 voters will cast their votes for the candidate of their choice in the upcoming February / 21 Panchbibi Banik Samiti elections.Retired Cooperative Officer Taj Hossain, the owner of Grand Food Chinese Hotel, will be the Chief Election Commissioner and Md. Jewel Hossain, the owner of Ideal Computer Training Center, and Rabbi Chowdhury, the proprietor of Dishi Farm, will be the Assistant Commissioner of Panchbibi Banik Samiti.
