In Parbatipur, 262 people got their own house given by the Prime Minister.
On the occasion of Mujib Year, 282 landless and homeless families were given gift houses in Parbatipur of Dinajpur.
(January 23) At 9:30 am on Saturday, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina joined hands through video conferencing and handed over the keys of two-room houses to these landless and homeless people like the rest of the country. After the inauguration, Upazila Parishad Chairman Alhaj Md Hafizul Islam handed over the house keys along with land deeds to 262 landless and homeless families of Pramanik Upazila in the Upazila Hall room on behalf of the Prime Minister. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Nasheed Kaiser Riyad, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) MH Khodadad Hossain, Model Police Station OC (Investigation) Sohel Rana, officials of various departments of the administration, 10 Union UP chairmen of the Upazila, and union land assistant officers. It may be mentioned that 262 landless and homeless ‘A’ listed families in the Upazila have been given pucca houses on government khas land. 2 percent khas land has been agreed upon with settlement per family. Colorful pucca house with two rooms, kitchen, veranda, and bathroom. There are tubewells and open playgrounds for potable water. Each pucca house was built for one lakh 71 thousand rupees. Of these, 70 are in UP No. 1, 22 in UP No. 2, 16 in UP No. 3, 35 in UP No. 4, 6 in UP No. 5, 29 in UP No. 7, 20 in UP No. 7, 34 in UP No. 7, 34 in UP No. 9, 2 in UP No. 15 and 10 in UP No. 9. The house is given.
